VALENTINES DAY

Tuesday Feb 14th Party with us for Valentines day at the Slug n Lettuce

The Slug n Lettuce will be busy with couples having valentine’s dinner and so upstairs will be unavailable for dancing. There will be no salsa classes tonight but we will be running a Kizomba workshop for everyone on the main dance floor at 8pm. After the lesson there will be freestyle salsa, Bachata , cha cha cha, Kizomba and more for everyone.

Entry price tonight for everyone is £5 or £6 for non-members….no free entry for social dancing tonight.

Events for The New Year 2012

New classes for absolute beginners start during January and February at Archdales on Monday and at the Slug n Lettuce on Tuesday – please see the weekly classes page for details.

We are offering absolute beginners six classes for the price of four so ask Stacie at the door when you sign in for our special offer. You will need to pay for the four classes up front to get the special offer.

KIZOMBA

Due to popular demand, Frankie is teaching Kizomba classes again with some taster sessions at the Slug n Lettuce on February 14, 21 and 28th. So if you are dying to try out this very popular dance here’s your chance. These taster classes are just £2.00 per person per week.

Following the taster classes regular classes will then be held every Thursday at The Pheasant, New St. Worcester. starting in March.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

Dress up in RED AND BLACK and wear your best bling – Tuesday December 13th at the Slug n Lettuce – 8pm. Social dancing, line dances, prizes, giveaways. Please note there will be no classes tonight. Tickets: FREE to members of Just Latin Salsa Dance Club who can produce an up-to-date and valid membership card.

Classes through the Christmas season:

Mondays at Archdales – closed December 19th and 26th. Resume January 2nd.

Tuesdays at The Slug n Lettuce: Christmas party Dec 13th, Class as usual December 20th, Closed December 26th, Classes resume January 3rd.

New 6 weeks Classes in KIZOMBA

Started on November 10th.  8pm at The Pheasant, New Street, Worcs. £30.00 for six weeks or £6.00 per week of sensual Kizomba with Frankie and Karen. This course will provide all the basics you need to get yourself on the dance floor dancing this beautiful and rythmic dance. This is a progressive course so please only join after Nov. 10th if you already know the basics of Kizumba.

WEEKLY Pay-as-you-go CLASSES

MONDAYS    Arrive at 7.45pm Archdales Club, Windermere Dr., Blackpole, WR4 9HY (next door to Sainsburys). TWO classes for the price of one. First class at 8pm SALSA: Beginners, Improvers and Intermediate. Warm-up line dances in Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and more. At 9.15pm BACHATA for beginners and improvers/intermediate.  £6  for non-members and £5 for members of Just Latin Salsa Dance Club (with a valid membership card).

SLUG N LETTUCE

TUESDAYS  Arrive 7.45pm for 8 pm at The Slug & Lettuce, The Cross, Worcester, WR1 3PY.

Class starts at 8pm prompt with a warm-up. Prices are £6 for non-members and £5 for members of Just Latin Salsa Dance Club (with a valid membership card).

Featuring cross-body SALSA for all levels: Teachers: Stuart, Angie, Nigel, Karen edwards assisted by Jan, Jo and Karen Taylor. Additional teachers and assistants: Simon & Jenny, Helen.

Fun line-ups with Nigel (Cha Cha Cha. Samba, Jive and some other really funky stuff!!)

* IMPROVE YOUR STYLE – have you got all the moves but want to improve your style and pizzaz? Have you developed some ‘bad habits’ that spoil your dancing? Why not take advantage of our new service being offered on Monday evenings at Archdales. We will video you dancing and review the footage with you, discussing your own impressions of your dancing and providing you with advice and tips for improving your style and technique on the dance floor. Usually offered by dance teachers as part of a private lesson costing £25 or more – we are offering this for just £10.00. You get to keep the video….
